Scripture Reading:

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” – Psalm 27:1

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105

Reflection:

Life can sometimes feel like walking through darkness—uncertainty, betrayal, or spiritual battles that cloud our way. In these moments, we long for God to shine His light and expose what is hidden: the true intentions of people around us and the path He has prepared for us.

We cannot always discern who is for our good and who means us harm, but God sees every heart clearly. As we remain close to Him, He promises to guide us, protect us, and lead us into righteousness—not just for our benefit, but for the glory of His name.

Walking in righteousness means trusting Him when we cannot see clearly, and leaning on His wisdom instead of our own understanding. His light reveals truth, His Spirit gives discernment, and His name gives us strength to keep moving forward.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your guidance in the midst of life’s darkness. Shine Your light on our path and expose what is hidden. Show us who is truly for our good and protect us from those who seek to do us harm.

Lord, when confusion surrounds us, be our clarity. When fear tries to overwhelm us, be our peace. Guard our steps and keep us walking in the path of righteousness, for Your name’s sake.

We trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect wisdom. Lead us by Your Spirit so that our lives may bring honor to Your holy name. Strengthen us to stand firm in truth, clothed in Your righteousness, and filled with Your light.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray,
Amen.

Application for Today:
• Begin your day by asking God to reveal truth and grant discernment.

• Meditate on one verse of Scripture that reminds you of His light.

• Before making decisions, pause and pray: “Lord, lead me in Your righteousness.”
